The first day kicked off May 20th, 2008 with !escunid Executive Director Michael-James Pennie presenting to a packed BC Canada Pavilion of over 120 delegates consisting of both government, private, and public sector companies from both China and Canada in the audience.

All in all, a lot of buzz was created around the event and !escunid generated a very positive reception in creating many opportunities that are now being discussed further.

!escunid lends a personal thank you to the British Columbia Technology Industry Association and the British Columbia Ministry of Economic Development for making this event happen.

We are pleased to announce that !escunid will be attending the Beijing Technology Summit in conjunction with the opening of the Canadian Olympic Pavilion in Tiananmen Square, which will provide a gateway to the Canadian business market prior to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Representatives of !escunid will include Executive Director Michael-James Pennie and Technical Director Gwyn Pritchett.

From this event !escunid seeks to create further higher level business and government awareness for the platform.
